In Fall 2016, I accepted an invitation with the United States Peace Corps in Kosovo as a community and economic development (CED) volunteer. I found out in February or March of 2017 that Peace Corps had decided to cancel the second cohort of CED volunteers in Kosovo and switched to working in the Education sector. I began my Peace Corps journal on May 31st, 2017.
This page has information that I think my friends and family will be interested in as I take on this new adventure. I also hope to catalog the process for future volunteers, as I found others’ blogs very helpful.

June through August I will be in Kosovo learning Albanian and adjusting to the culture. After this training period, I will move to my final site. This section will have posts about training.
